Before you buy another fountain filter
A practical checklist for matching the model, filter type, and pack contents before checkout.
The useful question is not “Does this filter look right?” It is “Does the maker list this filter for my fountain?” Write down the fountain’s full name before opening a shopping tab.
Your five-point shopping check
- Identify the fountain. Look at the base label, order history or manual. Record the full model identifier, not just the brand.
- Find the compatibility statement. A replacement listing should name your model or family explicitly. If it does not, ask the maker.
- Check what the pack contains. Distinguish the main water filter from a foam prefilter or pump accessory. A bundle photo can hide this distinction.
- Check the local listing. Confirm the seller ships to your address and that the regional model matches yours.
- Save the reference. Keep the verified part name and source link with your purchase receipt so next time starts with an answer.
A real example
Catit lists different filter families for PIXI, full-size Flower and Mini Flower fountains. “Catit filter” is therefore not a complete match on its own.
If you cannot establish compatibility, keep the item out of your cart. Our finder deliberately returns an unknown result rather than guessing.
